COMPETITOR
analysis
principle of competitor selection
competitors were selected for analysis based on three criteria:

  • located within walking distance of the client's studio
  • a target audience with similar values and pain points
  • a list of services that identifies which of the client's pain points a competitor is more likely already addressing
website sections
competitors' websites feature a homepage, a services page, and an information page about the salon and, sometimes, the team
location of services
services on websites are often presented as a single price list, with all services arranged in a menu format
when services are displayed as cards, they lack booking buttons
booking an appointment
as with the client's website, booking is handled via third-party services
USER
flow
website functionality
the catalog section features a search function with filters such as duration, cost, and service type
card sorting by price and duration (ascending and descending) is also available
the cards are initially sorted by service type, and all filtering takes place within these groups
the website offers the option to book a service or schedule an appointment directly with a specific specialist, as 60% of clients book this way
when the "Book" button on the service card is clicked, the user is redirected to the booking service
similarly, when clicking the "Book" button on a specialist's profile, you can select that specific specialist as your preferred choice

when designing the logo, the initial letters of the salon's name were singled out and rendered in a typeface that mimics the shape of nail polish
